The fermentasaurus transfer kit uses a little SS ball and a tube. I haven't researched it, but if you can buy just the ball with the little SS tube on it, then go buy a longer piece of silicone tubing, you would be all set. This thing works awesome when transferring from conical to keg under pressure, so I think it would be perfect for what you are trying to do.

I would go with the first one. Might be easier to zip tie some kind of doohickey to it
