Discarded logo design

I'm fooling around with brewery names/logos, and came up with this concept. I decided I don't want to use it, but enjoyed it enough to share it. Let me know what you think.

Can a corporation file a lawsuit over a logo that a home brewer uses for a not for profit hobby?

I think that is a clever idea!

Yeah, that's the point, but also why I don't want to use it.

I'm thinking that this would fall under substantial transformation- think of all those cheesy christian T-shirts that take the facebook logo and make it "faithbook".

If you used the bottle array and changed the bottle colors from the "rainbow coalition" to be the "colors of the SRM chart" i.e. from straw pale to extra stout and 4 colors in between, you could have something there.

Depends on if the logo is a "Trademark" or "Copyright"ed. Legally I believe they can, the question is "would they". I don't think it's worth their time to do more than to send threatening letters. I doubt they would actually file a lawsuit, that would cost them too much in filing fees.
