I made some invert sugar and want to know how much water to diluting it in when making a syrup to feed to the yeast after primary fermentation has taken off? I will be adding roughly two pounds of invert sugar to the primary.

ALso I have 36 oz of wort left over after I hit my preboil gravity shoul I use this to dilute it in and if so should I boil it down some?

okay i made the decision I guess to boil the wort I had left over in my mashtun (36 fl oz) with the 1.96 pounds of invert sugar for 30 min or so and than cool it and pitch it as my belgian strong dark ale is already at high krausen after only being pitched six hours ago:rockin::ban::rockin:!!!!!
