Are your tastes buds like your eyes where there is a certain timeframe in the morning where it works "best"?

I enjoy my pale ale more in the evening than around 10am.

Lol!

On my days off, time of the day doesn't matter to me.

Thanks for the links!

Formal wine tastings are often done in the morning, due to the fact that your palette can be altered by things such as food, drinks and (grossly) brushing your teeth. I don't brush my teeth at all before going to a wine tasting. Then again, it's ok to taste wine at 7a.m. when you're not actually drinking it.

Beer tasting for judges, I'm told, often start at 9 am as that is (supposedly) when most people are at their best taste wise. (They're also instructed not to brush and eat a very mild breakfast)
