Hello I trying to figure out were 75% of my fermentation is for a diacetyl rest. My lager OG 1.050 an FG 1.010. My math skills are not as good now because I been out of school for 20years

1.020

Teach a man to fish: You're looking for forty points of attenuation, 1.050 - 1.010 is .040, or forty points. Seventy five percent of forty is thirty. Fifty minus thirty is twenty, so seventy five percent complete is 1.020

This^^^^^. That's as concise of an explanation as I've seen to help someone understand the concept.
