How many cups of dextrose = 1 pound???

Most recipes call for corn sugar in weight, I am just wondering what the conversion is to volume/cups, because I do not own a scale.

If I recall, 5-Ounces is close to 3/4 of a cup.

I'd guess that a cup is about 6-7 ounces but don't take my word...

I would suggest hitting up your local dollar store for a scale. You can't accurately measure a powder by volume without knowing the bulk density of your actual sample at the time of measuring.
