I have noticed a few minor small debts here and there in my corny keg. Is this OK to let slide or could it produce off flavors?

As long as you get a good seal on the lid you are fine.

Most used cornies have a few dents.

Ok. In addition to that, would the occasional scratch inside harbor bacteria or am I thinking too much along the lines of plastic bucket?

As long as you clean thoroughly and sanitize you're fine

I don't know that I have any cornies without dents and scratches
