I recently finished a few brew sessions using the Fermtank. Delta Brewing Systems is somewhat new in the homebrew portion of the market, but I found this to be a great product while reviewing it so wanted to bring it to people's attention. The overall design is very similar to SS Brewtech's Brew Bucket, and has the same features that I love- large top opening, stainless is easy to clean, and nice integrated heating/cooling system solution. The Fermtank has a couple other nuances that I think improve over the Brew Bucket design- highly polished interior makes it even easier to clean, dump/drain valve at bottom also makes it easier to clean, the 8 gallon volume helps prevent yeast pushing out through blow-off tube and making a mess in my blow-off container water. The ability to do pressure transfers might be a bonus to some, but I personally use a diaphragm pump to transfer beer and not use any more CO2 for this.

Great review!

I’m yet to move from PET fermenters to stainless, but I plan to as I’m in the process of making a brew space in my basement.

I don’t need expensive brand names, and aside from the lack of a larger valve to dump or harvest, this one checks lots of boxes.
