Hello I have a lager on the go at moment and started at low temp but nothing was happening so put temp up to around 18'c, when it started to bubble I have put back down to 12'c. Someone told me to do a d rest so I have slowly increased temp back to 18 over last 3 days and about to keg. Does that sound right what I have done or is there to much fluctuation in temp and will leave funny taste?

perform D-rest after primary fermentation. 24-48 hours at D-rest temp then drop to lager temp
