Between a mix up with my order and El Dorado hops being out of stock at my LHBS, I decided to scrap the DIPA I was planning for this weekend, and instead convert an Extract Pale Ale recipe of mine to All Grain.

2 Gallons
60 Minute Boil
1.056 OG
45 IBUs
60 Minute Mash @ 150°
Safale US-05 @ 63°

  • 2.5# Maris Otter
  • 1# 2 Row
  • 0.25# Victory
  • 0.125# Crystal 40
  • 0.125# Crystal 60

  • 0.20 oz Columbus @ 60
  • 0.25 oz Centennial @ 10
  • 0.25 oz Centennial @ 5
  • 0.50 oz Centennial @ Flame Out
  • 1 oz Falconer's Flight 7C's - Dry Hop for 7 Days
  • 0.80 oz Columbus - Dry Hop for 7 Days

2 Questions:
  1. Is this going to be too biscuity using both Maris Otter and 0.25# of Victory. Should I cut the Victory in half?
  2. Should I change up my hop schedule? I think I may be overdoing it with the Dry Hop, and may have better luck using the Columbus for another late addition or hop stand?

Thanks!
