My first batch was the lager kit and a kilo of dextrose and it was fine. But adding malt extract to the kit will result in a better beer.

I didn't expect it to turn out this well from a coopers kit lol. I now have 1 month old Irish Stout, bottling tomorrow and made blonde ale with sterling gold hops 60min, sorachi ace 15min.
