So going to start my first brew, I live in the northeast where the temp changes often, just wondering how you guys keep your brew cool during primary fermentation?

My freezer is in use, I just got a beer pitched and am going to try the swamp cooler method. So far the beer is at 66 degrees, we'll see how it is when i get home from work tomorrow.

If you are going to use a chest freezer in the future then keep a constant look out on Craigslist. I got 2 great buys off of there.

I pit the fermenter in a cold weather sleeping bag and keep it cool with reusable cooler packs.
