SWMBO got me a fermentation cooler bag. I live in Florida and want to know if anyone else had used one to make lagers in our good awful weather. If so how manywater bottles worked for you? I know the number of bottles is dependant on individual circumstances and set ups but i hate going into anything blind. Instructions read 2 2 liter ice bottles will roughly drop it 11 degrees and 3 around 15. But this is Florida and the humidity is the only thing keeping everything from bursting into flames

I've read two gallon milk jugs last about 12 hours. Get 4 and freeze 2 while 2 cool. Also read it does drop temps about 10-15F depending who you ask, what month it is, and where they live.
