Connecting two gas manifolds

I am expanding from two kegs (sankes) to four. I already have a dual manifold. I assume that I can just buy another dual manifold and then connect them with a nipple. Any reason not to do this, or should I just buy a 4 way manifold? I would rather not spend the money and then have a dual manifold that is just laying around. Thanks.

Yes, you can couple two manifolds using the correct size pipe nipple...

depending on your current manifold, you may need to get a 3 output. If your current dual has a plug in one spot, then you should be able to replace that though.
