Connecting barbed adapter to Cornelius Plug Adapter

I have a Cornelius Plug Adapter-1/4" FFL x 19/32" and wish to connect a 1/4" barbed adapter to it. I have tried both a 1/4" mpt barbed adapter and a 1/4" mfl barbed adapter. The 1/4" mpt threaded adapter will screw in a little but not enough to be secure. Anyone have any ideas on what to use?

liquid post, 19/32-18 to 1/4" FFL adaptor, flare washer, 1/4" MFL to 1/4" MFL, barbed swivel nut.

i had this made up in the tool box but your 1/4mfl to barb and a flare washer would work

Thanks, the 1/4" mfl to barb adapter stuck out so much I assumed it was the wrong size.
