Brewed up a mini mash Belgian Trippel (kit from High Gravity), my first brew with my Bayou Classic burner...

recipe states OG = 1.088, I got 1.100!

I used a 1L starter and added another smack pack on top of that!!

Partial boil volume - 4 gallons, topped off with on gallon of water, took OG reading after 5 minutes of vigorous stirring...

I don't know if there is a question, but usually my hydro reading have been under NOT over when doing mini-mash partial boils...

Blow off tube in place!:ban::ban:

OG reading @ 72* after 1 gallon was added to: final boil amount of 4 Gallons,

stirred for 5 minutes, then took OG reading, then pitched yeast....

I'd guess that your readings are correct. I think you probably boiled off a little more than you were planning on due to the new burner. You say you topped off with 1 gallon of water, but did that bring the total volume up to 5 gallons? I'm guessing probably not if you started at 4 gallons, but I could be reading that part incorrectly.
