After one Biab, I will never extract again and decided to 3 vessel is the only way. Compact due to garage size and didn't want the stand to take up too much room. My research led me to the MT over the HLT in large units, so why not adapt to a smaller scale. Not sure what to name it, but fun to build. Hlt on the bottom, built in burnner to the stand and temp control / 3 wire gas valve need to finish. The lower bung was so hard to see and reach with the tig torch. The MT false bottom will hinge on the right side to dump the spent grain. 120v electric heater to maintain temp when recirculation.... I'll post more as I continue on. Cheers.

Ran out of argon, one too many beers and first mock up last post. Today is Sunday funday after welding this week. Hard to ask for help but wanted to share.

Worst is setting up each weld with shielding gas behind it, I use metal tape for HVAC.

The wife calls it the tin man.

I could use advise for a controls setup. I have two A421 J/C's temp controller for HLT and MT recirculation with pump. Control box and switch options?

I need to attach the lid on the top.... Thinking hinge with pin and latch for the top. Using the SS lid and spray ball for rinse water and cleaner spray ball for multiple equipment.

MT hinge dumps the grain was a cool side note if the setup. Compact was the inspiration.

That’s a pretty cool setup, looking forward to seeing it in action. The tippy idea is pretty sweet!

Off topic, is that a turbo VW engine in the background?
