A few months ago I brewed Ed Wort's Wounded Knee which turned out very very good but I want try making a variation incorporating some Citra hops as flavor and aroma additions and in the dry hop. To give a little more malt backbone I've included some Maris Otter (which will finish my stock) and I am upping the target OG from 1.055 to 1.064 to balance the extra hops. I am hoping to brew this next weekend but I wanted some feedback on the recipe. My calculations are from BeerAlchemy using 80% efficiency.

This beer turned out fantastic! I've tried many IPA recipes and dry hopped every one but none have had the wonderful nose that this combination of hops gives. I'm glad I have enough of these hops in the freezer to make this again!

I may try a Rye IPA with this hop bill. Really really nice combination of hops and the late addition and dry hop with citra adds a nice extra touch to the aroma hops combination with simcoe and amarillo.

I will definitely brew this again!
