Visited the French Broad Brewery in Asheville a few weeks back and loved their RyeHopper IPA. However it was not as aromatic as my most favorite homebrewed IPAs. I wanted to try brewing my own IPA with Rye and with a combination of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra hops that I really liked together (especially dry hopped). I've used a base grains from the belle's two hearted clone but used a mix of Maris Otter and 2-row instead of pale malt and two pounds of rye malt in place of some of the pale. I loved the mouthfeel and balance of the two hearted but missed the aroma that the other american hops give.

Basically I'm trying to make an IPA with my favorite hops, my favorite complexity/mouthfeel, and a little something different with the rye malt. The recipe is below and I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions before I brew this in a week or two.

Brewed this up with my buddy today. We hit a nice 87% efficiency and I'm going to pitch it in a few hours with Wyeast 1056 (once it gets down to 64 F). The sample tasted great--I can't wait to see how it turns out!
