I'm looking for a 36qt mash tun for 5 gallon batches, and I can get a Coleman Marine Xtreme cheap. The only question on my mind is: is that cooler safe for mashing? I didn't find mutch information on the plastic on the inside, and I just wanna be sure before buying. Dont want to get any toxins in my brew.

Tried to ask Coleman, but they gave me no good answer. I know that the normal Xtreme edition is ideal for mashing, but its not available at my part of the world (Norway).

I use a 54 quart Coleman Marine Xtreme for my mash tun. The label on the front says the inside is food grade plastic.
