I brewed a kahlua brown ale in the fall that turned out fantastic and I kind of have an itch to do something different again.
Im thinking of putting an extract pale ale together with a little cointreau in it. I figured cointreau would go well with a subtle citrusy pale ale. The recipe would be pretty simple something like the following:
5 gallons
7 # light LME
½ # caramel 20L
½ # cara-pils
Citrus flavored hops at about 30-35 IBUS
Chico Strain yeast
6 to 8 ounces of cointreau in secondary
What do you guys think?
