I did a chocolate coffee stout and used 8oz unsweetened cocoa powder (split half in boil and half in secondary) and cold brewed coffee in the secondary. I cold brewed 1lb coffee in 40oz of water then added about 12oz of the brewed extract into the secondary. I've had it in the secondary for a week and am planning on bottling at the 10 day mark. With all that said, the coffee flavor is quite strong and I can't find the chocolate. How long will it take for the chocolate to come out (if it will) and how long for the coffee to take a back seat?

The coffee will definitely mellow. I brewed a Surly Coffee bender clone and I used some really good dark roast coffee. After a week it was better, after 2 it tasted amazing and really mellowed out.
