Does anyone know if you can use a CO2 regulator and cylinder for beer gas. My homebrew supply shop claims you can. I'm questioning that so would like others opinions. From what I know nitrogen and CO2 act different under pressure. When there mixed im not sure. Also if I'm not mistaken N cylinders can be pressurized more then a CO2 cylinder?

what is "beer gas"? and yes, nitrogen requires a different bottle and regulator

I'm not sure you could get someone to fill a CO2 cylinder with beergas. (for @Seattle2k : The blend of nitrogen and CO2 used for beer)

You can use a CO2 regulator, but you'll need the adapter to change it from a female to male fitting.
