Wondering if anyone in the Vermont area can point me in the right direction. I need a place that will Refill a 5# CO2 tank. Any and All Help is Appreciated.

There's an AirGas on Williston Road in So Burlington
Macushla, Ted here. I'm in Burlington area. Old thread but figured I'd ask --- where do you get your 5# Co2 tank filled? And, do they fill YOUR tank or do a tank swap? Any help appreciated. Finally making the jump to kegging and trying to plot it out for myself. Best, Ted

Super old thread, but for others that may find this on a search, the two options I know of for CO2 in the Burlington area at this point are Vermont Homebrew Supply or Airgas. Both do swaps. The fire extinguisher place (Fireprotec) used to do refills, but the sold to a different company, and no longer do this. One funny thing to me is that the Airgas price for a 5 lb tank is pennies less than a 20lb tank fill (literally <$1.00).

Ho lee crap, just found out Vermont Homebrew Supply went out of business. I will mourn their absence. And now where to fill my 5, 10, & 20 Lb CO2 tanks? Looks like Airgas in Williston may be the only option, and they ONLY do exchange, no fills, argh! That means loosing my pristine aluminum tanks! And the guy says he rarely stocks 10's. Any locals know of any other place to actually fill tanks??
I'm in Montpelier and used to get my gas from Vt Homebrew. Sad to see them go. Like you, the only place I've found is Airgas. I use the one in Barre, but it pains me to go from having paid $25 for 5 to $38 at Airgas.
