CO2 coupler

Hi everybody....just got back home from vaca and was happy to have see my new regulator, like this: http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=475 from kegconnection waiting for me (had the neighbor's kid get my mail.) I went to fit it to my 20lb tank, and noticed there is no coupler to connect it to the tank. Is it normal for a new regulator not to come with that fitting? And if so, where is the best place to get one?

I will call around welding supply companies tomorrow...or would Home Depot/Lowes carry it? I checked the KC website and they don't sell that piece.

You got secondary regulators, which are meant to be connected to a primary regulator via a gas line. You should have ordered a "primary" like this: http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=128

That regulator assembly will still work....it just doesn't connect straight to the cylinder. You'd need a high pressure hose assembly. http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=291

Or give them a call and they can probably send you the fitting to attach it directly to the tank for less money.

Make sure you don't try to rig something on the high pressure side. Spend the money to get the correct parts. The pressure on the high side will literally obliterate most lines and fittings you may be able to scrounge up.
