CO2 canisters

Hello all.I've just finished fermenting a malt extract stout which seems to be doing well. I have 4 and a bit uk gallons of it conditioning in a 5 and a bit gallon keg. How long would you recommend leaving it sit and how many of these 10 cm^3 CO2 bulbs which i have should i put into the keg??

Are you talking about carbing, or just pushing beer?

For just pushing beer, it is supposed to take three or four of the 16 gram CO2 cartridges per 5 gallon keg.
