I’ve been using carb drops since I started bottling directly from my fermenter bc it just makes my life easier. I normally use Brewers Best brand carb drops, but recently bought a pack of Fizz Drops from Northern Brewer. The most recent batch that I bottled, I ran out of the BB drops about 2/3 of the way through the batch and finished the rest with the NB drops. I marked the caps so I would know later which drop was used bc I was curious if I’d notice any difference. I haven’t tasted any of the ones bottled with the NB drops but I can SEE a difference in the bottles - the ones primed with the NB drops have a cloud/floaties hanging around the top. I’ve never gotten this with the BB drops. Any ideas? Anyone else get this with the NB drops??
