I'm thinking about doing this recipe as my first All-Grain Batch on Sunday. :mug:

Any suggestions or experiences w/ this brew? I'd love to hear how others' Sierra Nevada Clones have turned out!

try this one out (this is from my notes, its been over a year since i have tried this recipe but it tasted good last i recall

3/4 lbs crystal 60L

OG should be 1.052
FG should be 1.010

im sure you could alter it as you see fit, like maybe a 60 min boil lol.

.5 oz. Centennial dry hop
.5 oz. Cascade dry hop

White Labs WLP001 California Ale

adjust magnum / galena / perle amounts to hit around 46ibu. I've made paritial mash of both but used us-56 both excellent. I make the SNPA all the time but use 1 oz at 1 minute and 1 oz dry hop but I love cascades :ban:

Well, SNPA has both Magnum and Perle hops for bittering - with Cascade primarily for flavor & aroma. Comes in around 37IBU, 5.7% ABV. Here's an AG clone, single infusion mashed at 153, batch sparged. It's pretty close too on all the critical data...:
