I was sorting through accumulated boxes of stuff in the shed. Came across an unopened bag containing a gross of bottle caps. Looked further into the box and found four more. Took a moment to realize the box had come from my parents house. The supplies were from the mid to late eighties when I started brewing with my Dad.
We were purchasing supplies from the James Page brewery at the time. The bags of caps were marked $2.50. $0.51 more than I now pay from our local supplier.
The classic find, a gross of E. C. Kraus printed bottle caps for caffeine free Classic Coke. The bag was marked for home use only.
$0.49 less than I now pay
