CIP Question - What is your setup?

As we are finishing up work on our new conical we had one question that we'd like to send to committee for those of you using a CIP ball in your conical fermenter; can you please describe your current setup?

We have our lid and CIP ball set to go however we are trying to figure out the most common connection to the CIP ball? Since the supply pumps run at about 30psi we don't think a barb fitting would be sufficient. We're looking at NPT but wanted to get feedback from those of you out there.

You would figure the barb has to be somewhere to attach to tubing. It seems the most common tubing is reinforced clear pvc. Cam lock is nice but I could just thread one on to a MPT fitting

Wouldn't mpt give options for adding whatever quick disconnects we use?
