Hi after some advice.

We pressed about 13l of apples last week from my dad's garden (not sure what they are)

We've had it sat for a week and it hasn't started fermentation yet so getting abit worried.

We added

Teaspoon of Yeast nutrient
2 Campden tablets crushed
Teaspoon of pectolytic Enzyme
Waited 24 hrs
Teaspoon & bit of Gervin GV13 Yeast.

We were going to do the rest of the apples this weekend but are now having second thoughts wondering if we did something wrong?

Appreciate any help especially as it's out first attempt

Couple suggestions

Do you have a hydrometer? If not get a hydrometer and check it. Fresh pressed apple juice typically falls between 1.045 and 1.055. (Coukd be a bit more or less).

How convinced are you that your yeast were viable? Consider getting some fresh yeast and starting the yeast in a small amount of your cider to ensure they are active prior to pitching.

At what temperature are you fermenting? Is the temperature within the yeasts tolerance. Suggested temp for this yeast is 24C. (75 F)

Good luck, let us know how it comex out.

We added more Yeast and half a Teaspoon of lemon juice but still nothing.

We took a hydrometer reading, we decided against adding anymore sugar as we were happy with the reading.

It's been sat in my dad's kitchen covered atm temperature is around 20C
