A recipe I pulled off another website. I was thinking about making a straight cherry mead, but at the last minute decided it would be fun to try this out!!

1lbs clover honey
1lbs wildflower honey
12oz frozen cherries
32oz R.W. Knudsen Just Black Cherry Juice (Wegmans health food section)
Lalvin 71B-112 dry yeast
1/5th Fruit Mead (Melomel) Pack
1/4 tsp Fermax Yeast Nutrient
1/2tsp Yeast Energizer

2 teaspoons high quality cocoa powder (when racked to secondary - STIR IN SLOWLY!)
.5 oz mahleb (when racked to secondary)

.5 oz vanilla extract from Nielsen Massey's (after clearing)
.2 oz heavy toast French oak (after clearing)
