So....I'm gonna try to harvest some yeast from a Chimay-blue..... This stuff is kicking my arse tonight....(Haven't eaten all day....). Hope I can make it through the 'grand reserve' and still make the starter.....seemed like the right forum.....

I know its cliche, but Chimay Grand Reserve always tastes better when actually in Belgium :D

I'm kidding, but my beer career started there (honestly, Chimay Bleu, in Belgium) and I could get those large bottles for 3-4 Euros.... So :drunk:
 
Honestly, I never thought about trying to harvest the yeast from a Chimay. I think a run to the liquor store is in order later today !!! :mug:
