Three families are coming over next Saturday morning to brew a batch of the White House Honey Ale. If you'd like to join us, let me know - kids are welcome and there will be lunch.

This is a non-partisan gathering, and certainly not about the campaign, rather a celebration that, in less than a person's lifetime, we have gone from Prohibition to a White House Chef brewing handmade beer!

That sounds like great fun! I wish we were about 275 miles closer, so we could make it!

Are you doing just one batch, or are you making a bigger batch?

You need to convince Bob to travel. We've got a very nice guest room, newly painted and a delightful decore (ha!)

We're going to do one batch and split it.

Two of the families joining us have 1 1/2 year olds - Jack and Kalina. Should be fun, especially when I'm worn out and their parents take them home ;)
