I have a few cans of Comstock tart cherries in water that I am intending to add to one of my beers. My question is, should I drain the water out of the cans before the addition? or just leave the water in? Thanks.

Toss the whole can in. I've used the same in a few sours and in smoked baltic porter and find that as long as the gravity is high enough it doesn't water down the flavor, but if I leave out the water quite a bit of the cherry flavor is lost.
