That is definitely too big for the living room and SWMBO would not go for it.

I wonder, being a bit of a wood worker, if there is a market for bars of a smaller scale for hard core brewers like most of the people who visit this site on a regular basis?
 
You never know. All you need is something someone else cant do or get and you can make money. I have a motorcycle tail light business that I make pretty good money at, and its not hard for me, but some people cant solder, and have no idea what a resistor is, so they buy mine.

It may be worth it to make up a small scale prototype and see what you can get for it. I have expanded mine from 1 light to 5 different models and will be adding more in the near future.
 
I have seen a few places online that offer "custom bar kits" or will build a custom bar for your house.
