I've had a hankering for a good ale, need to order a bunch of stuff, so I'm gonna make the infamous Cincinnati Pale Ale from Palmer (out of 5 batches of beer in the next month).

Now, being in Japan, I need to convert all my stuff to metric. I know there are some people here familiar with the metric system and hop calculations, so may I kindly borrow your assistance?

With the extract weight, I think I'm OK. 3-4 pounds of pale malt extract comes out to about 1.34-1.82kg. With the 3 pounds of amber dry malt extract, about 1.36kg.

the 12AAUs of bittering hops I worked out to be like this:

12 = (x) x 9% (centennial hops alpha acid % as stated by my shop).
(x) = 1.33 oz.
1.33oz. = about 38 grams of hops (round up to 40?).

the 5AAUs of finishing hops:

5= (x) x 5.7% (cascade)
(x) = .88 oz.
.88oz. = about 25 grams of hops.

Am I on target before I push the order button on this?

I think all my numbers are down.

I was also going to add 250g (about 9 ounces) of crystal malts (EBC 55-80) and dry hop with 15 grams of cascades. Sound like a go?
