Its just a switch that works off temp.
It can handle up to 6 amps of power at 250 voltage. Does not care where in the world it is.

5 deg F to 70 deg F

It looks like it can be wired for normal open or normal closed I.E. for heating or cooling. As an HVAC tech I can attest that the cheaper controls like that can be very imprecise give or take up to 5-7 deg with just a bump of the nob.

you are better off with a digital control. FAR less hassle and frustration.

Consumer appliances in the USA run on 120vac, so most would likely look for a solution that's clearly for a 110vac application (even if that listed one would work just fine).

Otherwise, analog thermostats, especially with capillary tubes aren't the best choice for alternatives to oem controllers...

Cheers!

Off eBay for $8. Product description says "not suitable for US". Shipping conditions says "ships to US only" ;-)

Today, seems to be holding the set temp pretty well. Just trying out the middle of the scale setting. Seems like ~58 F.

Ordered an STC 1000 also, just in case, and for the cold months
