As it is a high-volume regulator, I'd say no. But, it's cheap enough you could try it & report back.

I bought a handful of them a while ago with that intent. You'll definitely want to replace the gauge though with something like a 0-30 psi one. I got a bunch of those pretty inexpensively from ebay.

It's up to you to give these a shot, I don't think I'd trust such a low cost product for that application, but heck I could be wrong.
