Cheap pumps

Has anyone tried these pumps?

Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

Are they usable on a brew rig? The price seems too good, compared to the March pumps.

the first thing i notice is that it isnt food grade....i wouldnt use it but i dont have experience with march pumps as of yet for myself- only seen them used.

After a quick run through of the product manual I didn't see anything listed for the operable temperature range. I would definitely check on that before purchasing. The nice thing about the March pumps, on top of being food grade, is that they're rated up to 250 F.

I have heard of guys using these with decent results. I thing that they are good for 170F or so

be sure not to use it with "lammable" liquids...
