Got a whole bunch of brewing stuff to get done tomorrow but im also thinking about makeing a batch of beer since one of my primaries will be opening up. I dont want to spend a lot of money but id like to make a decent 5 gallon batch. And suggestions? I was thinking of maybe a SMASH batch.

This has worked out for well for me in the past. If you like Citra this is a nice lighter beer, the malt build was based on a Gumball Head clone recipe that I found, I just subbed the Amarillo for Citra.

5 Gallon Batch
5lb Wheat DME
2.25 oz Crystal 10 * Use anything light here for better head retention
2.25 oz Caravienne * Use anything light here for better head retention
8oz Corn Sugar

All Hop additions are Citra 14.40% @ alpha
.5oz 60min
.5oz 6min
.5oz 4min
.5oz 1min

I dry hopped with a .5 oz and that was fine.

Thanks I may try that but not use citra. My last 3 batches have been with citra.
