I am planning a wood sculpture. The kettle level will have a propane burner on the stock stand. Height of the entire unit is 12".
Do I have to put something like Durock on the shelf under the burner to prevent charring of the 1/2" plywood shelf?
How close can the burner be to the shelf that is 12" above it to prevent charring?
I am thinking pine dimensional lumber.
