I'm working on my first recipe from scratch, an fruit/citrus forward APA. I like Cascade and Chinook hops, but have not used Galaxy before (but have heard good things). Here is my hop schedule:

.5 oz Cascade @ 30min
.5 oz Chinook @ 30 min
1 oz Cascade @ 15 min
1 oz Galaxy @ 10 min
1 oz Galaxy @ 0 min
1 oz Galaxy dry hop for 7-10 days

Should get me around 50 IBUs.

Is this a good mix? Any suggestions?

I don't get the 30min additions, I always thought that after ~20min in the boil the hops won't contribute much flavor or aroma.

I'd do a 60min cascade addition to reach the IBUs and drop chinook (supposedly it adds a harsh bitterness compared to cascade).

I really like the galaxy schedule though! Good luck with that
