Carboy Caps

Does anyone know if the (usually orange) carboy caps will fit on the plastic jugs? I use the primo water jugs.

right now I just modify the caps that come with the jugs to hold an airlock but they just don't last very long. Thoughts?

if they are the same neck dimensions as other water jugs and better bottles etc. then yes. i just tried a medium universal/better bottle bung on my last batch and like them better than the carboy caps.

If it's not a snug fit you can build up the neck with some turns of electrical tape, or use a large diameter hose clamp to get a seal. Mine fit but are pretty loose, I don't worry about it.
