If I carbonate my beer in the keg using the set and forget method, then disconnect the gas. Will the beer be ok to sit in the refrigerated keg for about 2 months before serving? At serving time would I just reconnect the gas and set to serving pressure and be good to go? I appreciate the help, long time bottler, first time kegger!

As long as you have no leaks it should be fine sitting for 2 months, it won't lose carbonation and yes you would just set it to serving pressure.

Yeah man, it'll be fine. If it's not too late you should consider making a lager for that brew. If it's going to sit in the kegerator for 2 months anyway, seems like the thing to do.

Have fun and enjoy the brew.

It's a pumpkin ale that just finished fermenting. It needs to sit a while for the spices to mellow. I plan to serve it just before Halloween.
