Hi all. Getting my new keg setup going in a few days.

I have a trippel that's been in secondary for 4 months in the basement.

Can I force carb this? Or should I really prime it in the keg and then add gas later once its naturally carbed for a few weeks. I want to stay true to the style, but I am not into bottle conditioning ever again.

Bottles are all going away forever and ever.

Thanks.

I've not done a Belgian trippel before but I imagine it would be good to force carb that (Just set it at serving pressure for a week or two would work as well) since I think those are high ABV beers and the yeast might not be up to the job of carbing for you.

natural carb is probably most true to style, but the yeast has done most of what it will do during primary and especially a 4 month secondary...

I'd force carb it and be done...
