Caramel's ??

I put an apple together yesterday and was wondering if you could use the caramel candy for part of the sugar. It says it has some kind of milk product in it. They are the little rectangular ones used for apples. Thanks Mike

Idk about store bought caramel, but I don't see why you couldn't make some brewers caramel. I have made it several times and its very easy.

I know its for beer brewing but I can't imagine there could be a difference.

look up "upstatemikes caramel apple cider" It uses a homemade caramel sauce and is very tasty.
