I am modifying a brewing classic styles recipe and need a little guidance. I want to add a more substantial mouthfeel to Jamil's robust porter recipe. I'd like to add about 8 oz. of cara-pils. I believe cara-pils will add unfermentable sugars in a similar fashion to crystal.
Should I reduce the crystal malt to avoid too much sweetness?
