Canning from Keg/Bottle

Hello All!!

I'm making a super tasty NEIPA soon and my buddy at his HBS bought a canning machine and told me he'd teach me how to use it so I can can my beer. My question is, can I can my beer after it's been carbonated in bottles or in my keg? Also - Can I fill my growler up from the keg and pour the beer into the can's that way?

My guess is I can, and not as simple as popping the cap pouring it in the sanitized can and seam it? So, if anyone has done this before please let me know the steps is and such.

You should be able to carbonate in the can, just like you would in a bottle.

Keep in mind NEIPA's don't do well being bottled or canned unless you have some way to keep it completely oxygen free.
