My roommate and I enjoy brewing and we just realized that we still have an ingredient kit from Austin Homebrew (for a honey brown ale) that we bought back in August and never used. The hops are still vacuum sealed, the grain bag is still sealed in plastic, and the LME has never been opened. Is it still good?

ive used 2 year old expired coopers can... i even used the old yeast and was still good.. as long as can is not leaking its good to go

Last August; 5 months ago. I suspect some kits sit on shop shelves longer than that. Use it, yeast too.
